Dealing with Creepy & Nosy Upstairs Neighbors
The whole pandemic crisis makes everything so unbearable. It has taken all the patience out of people it seems. People spent the past year or so inside just alone or with someone annoying that finally being outside is like winning the lottery.
After a long day, you just want to relax and have peace at home. What if you can’t? Your upstairs neighbors are creepy and nosy. I am talking they move with every step you take. Then when you get your keys you can hear them go to their window to peak as you leave for work and when you look up and the blinds are all bent up. Blinds are so beat up bent in all kinds of ways because they stare out so much. If that isn’t creepy enough the upstairs neighbors stomp then drop weights for the fun of it when you are just trying to have a quiet dinner.
It’s never fun to have nosy or creepy upstairs neighbors but it’s even worse when you have to live near them. First and foremost, it’s important to remember why they might be acting like this. Perhaps they are socially awkward and don’t know any better, or maybe they’re just rude and intrusive. Whatever the case may be, it’s important to maintain your composure and composure of your home.
The best way to deal with nosy or creepy upstairs neighbors is to confront the issue head-on but in a congenial manner. While it may be tempting to go full-on rage, you should try to maintain a civil conversation and instead focus on how to find a middle ground or resolution. You can start by politely introducing yourself and making it clear that your boundaries need to be respected. If things seem to be getting out of hand, consider talking to your landlord/building manager to intervene.
The other option is to simply ignore them. Sure, it may be a bit uncomfortable at first, but if you maintain your composure and peace, they will most likely back off in due time.

- Write a formal notice complaint.
- Look up your local tenant/ landlord rights
- Research your state’s laws on notice complaints and invasion of privacy. (REMEMBER each state has different rules and regulations.)
- Move.
- Invest in earplugs or notice cancellations headphones.
It’s a shame in this world there are people so bored with their life that they find it amusing to be a nosy creep. All you can do is try not to amuse the crazed neighbors above you who are obsessed with you. Giving them your priceless energy only get’s them into a lust frenzy and entertainment. You just have to find the higher road and make the best of the situation without catching a case that would be their joy. Remember you have the upper hand if you ignore them then they will have to deal with their miserable selves which is why they haunted you.
